A Look Into Manifestations

PREFACE:
The following information supplied within this page are what this organization believes as the classic definition of hauntings, tailored to fit our research, findings, and conclusions.

MANIFESTATIONS:
Ghosts are able to manifest in different ways. Most often, people are able to see and/or hear these manifestations. There is a widely accepted belief of how ghosts manifest. While it's safe to say that their manifestations are not magical, they are fairly difficult to prove scientifically. The theory on how they manifest relates to them being made of pure energy.

Recall the theory of all life having "chi" -- that we have the capability of storing energy and emitting electrical pulses into our surroundings. These electrical pulses come from each heartbeat and each movement of the biological structure that is our body. Even fish (more specifically, sharks) can detect electrical fields that other lifeforms in the water produce. This is known as electroreception.

So, how does this all fit in with ghosts? In many field investigations, researchers use an instrument called an EMF meter (Electro-Magnetic Field meter) which pick up electrical spikes within the local environment. There are times when an EMF meter will pick up high readings of electrical interference, and the researchers will often record the surroundings with several other instruments (such as temperature, photos, video, among others). In many cases, the combined readings result in what will be deemed as evidence (should the findings yield convincing results).

EMF plays an important role in giving ghosts a possible definition as to what they're made of. With the widely accepted belief that ghosts are correlated with energy and electricity, researchers have come up with a theory as to how they appear before our very eyes. The theory is that in order for ghosts to materialize (or manifest), they have to pull in energy from their surroundings. As a result, ions in the air will be exchanged from positive to negative and vice versa. If there is a substantial amount of this trading of electricity, the effect will produce a number of results, including illumination (sparks of light), a drop in temperature (cold spots), and the residual left behind from the chemical transaction that happens when it manifests (commonly referred to as ectoplasma). It is then further theorized that because ghosts can manipulate their surroundings to manifest, they can also manipulate the added physics in which density and polarity of some objects can be controlled. Moreover, frantic or powerful manifestations can result in harm to the observer.
